The Junior Titans hold weekly community sessions in Sunderland and in Penshaw for girls and boys which are led by experienced Basketball England qualified coach Simon Wood. In the 2025/26 season, the Titans will have an Under 16 girls Junior National League team, Under 14 boys and Under 14 girls Durham League teams and a mixed Under 10 team in the Durham league Central Venue League.

Led by experienced head Coach Arnel Juan-Clemente, the Raptores have had a lot of success since their establishment in 2020. They have Under 18 and Under 16 Junior National League boy's teams and also under 16, under 14 and under 12 Durham League teams. They also have several Durham League men's teams.

Oxclose run weekly training sessions for children and adults. In the 2025/26 season they will have an Under 16 Boys Durham League team (Oxclose Thunder on Facebook) and 2 adult TyneMet Basketball League teams (Beavers / Sharks).

Sunderland has many outdoor basketball courts but on dry, mild weekend days and evenings, the double courts in Barnes Park are the only place to go for pick-up Basketball games of widely varying quality.
